As a sequel to Breath of the Wild, the Great Fairies in TOTK are the same ones that Link met in BOTW, although they do require the player to jump through some new hoops with side quests before they will help him.
The majestic beings are known for being able to aid Link by healing him, granting him unique items, or providing upgrades to his armor or weapons.įinding the locations of all the Great Fairies in Tears of the Kingdom is a useful goal as the enhancements that come from them can help make things easier in the long run for Link and the player. Despite taking on vastly different appearances over the various games, they are always some form of humanoid creature and are often found living in a Great Fairy Fountain. Some versions of Great Fairies have appeared in nearly every Zelda title to date, even spin-off games such as Hyrule Warriors and Age of Calamity. There are many wondrous and magical characters in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, such as the powerful beings known simply as Great Fairies.
